Cavalier Executive Vice President Announces Retirement

Cavalier Executive Vice President Rick North will be retiring at he end of the year after 46 years in the trucking industry.
Rick started in trucking as an 18 year old mail room attendant at Inter-City truck lines in Mississauga. He rose through the ranks eventually becoming Vice President of Sales at Inter-City.
In 1986 Rick joined Cavalier as Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing and was instrumental in the expansion and development of Cavalier, helping make it one of the premier trucking companies in Ontario.
Rick's tenaciousness, vision and dedication to both the company and his loyal customers will be sorely missed. We wish Rick the best as he heads off to tackle the next chapter of his life with the same inspirational positive attitude that characterized his time at Cavalier and is summarized by one of Rick's favourite quotes by Ralph Waldo Emerson:
